I really don’t know what to think about this… Is this kind of “instant speculation” common among Kickstarter backers? Do rare rewards usually pop up on eBay as soon as they are received? Is this an exception or a normal phenomenon? Everyone is free to do whatever they want with their stuff but this kind of operation feels to me a bit tactless, unless somebody _needs_ to sell some of his/her stuff. I think that´s the best comparison, yes. They get back their money _and_ make a nice profit, as long as there´s stupid people to pay money for it (and there usually are). Keep us posted if this actually sells! ---

There are scalpers everywhere. The $500 is really a wishful thinking, I don’t think there’s going to be anyone biting into it. The same goes for vintage big boxes that are on ebay for these kind of prices but never sell. ---

Ebay is different: the asked price can only rise. So, if the real market price of those items were a lot less, we’d see lower requests. They can ask for a million dollars, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to get it. An item is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for it. To find out the real market value you should filter by items that were actually sold. Though it gets a bit tricky with items that are rare and/or doesn’t have much of a market activity. ---

I backed $50. A boxed version of the game, signed by Ron, would be nice 🙂 but I don’t think that I can afford a $500 expense, though. With those money, I would by a new mobile or something else. ---
