Well the future is now. The podcast has automatic transcripts - on Apple podcasts, at least. So there is no need for me to go through them anymore and finish this thing. Of course, it won’t show you who said what or at what time point, or adds in notes to the blog and all of that. Take that, AI! Also it gets “Gilbert” wrong and transcribes it as “Gobert” (which is indeed closer to how Ron ~~mumbles~~ says it) The really concerning news is: I only see the two last episodes on there (even after checking display all and show played episodes). Can someone (anyone) confirm? Worst case, if they are removed, we still have some uploads on YouTube for the whole animated podcast project. They are incredibly hard to find back, though. Also following the link to soundcloud seems to only show 2 episodes for the show 😱 ---

Could you share them? I can then download the few missing ones from the unlisted youtube videos\* [edit: \* I have downloaded mp3 of the few missing ones (63, 64 and 66) through wayback machine, which is much faster than ripping the audio track from the video. Unfortunately not all of the episodes were archived there.] ---

I think you mentioned something about that back in 2017 or 2018. I forgot all about it but you can also easily achieve high quality local transcripts with Whisper since a few years ago now, as a (very) good basis for some manual touchups. And if you have a sufficiently capable Nvidia GPU you might be able to run Voxtral or Parakeet.
