All people I watched, rotated the mouse around the Y-axis so that the cable pointed towards their body (assuming that there is still a mouse with a cable ).
Nerds using keyboards while people use mice/GUI? Sounds like youโre confusing being a nerd with not being illiterate.
I think nerds are even the first to use or try new technologies before it catches on, allowing to drop prices while the market grows and the masses (referred to as โpeopleโ by you) will embrace it.
I bet real nerds were using mice in the 70s and 80s when the rest never even touched a computer.
As for game interface methods- and point and click adventures in particular: I bet the same nerds saw the potential of touch screen devices and they all have scummVM now (or jailbreak their apple devices to install that).
Using keyboard - or joystick for that matter- to play is more out of nostalgia.
It makes sense. The tail is at the back of the mouse, last time I saw it
It was just a joke.
People make jokes.
Nerds overthink it and give birth to a wall of text.
trolling mode off: your analysis is right.
Yes, somebody called?
To be honest, I would even say most of the forum members are nerds, in one or the other way. Me included.
