There’s another stealthy giveaway by GOG: The Dark Eye: Chains of Satinav. About 2 days left as of now.
This has one of my most favorite puzzles ever, the three “impossible” tasks in the Faerie Realm. Mild spoiler: the laws of nature behave differently there, making for some excellent moon logic.
And, of course, it’s set in the wonderful, low fantasy, The Dark Eye universe (no prior knowledge required), so highly recommended!
F1 Manager 2024 free on Epic till tomorrow (20th). I guess far from the tastes of the average IF connoisseur, but I bet there is at least a fan of the F1 circus around here. Good reviews: excellent graphics, but fans annoyed about a decay in quality with respect to previous editions.
Amerzone, early work of the genius Benoît Sokal, is free on Steam. Any lover of adventure games should already have it in their collection, but if not, this is a good occasion to fill the gap!
The Epic store is (again) giving away Sable. Short deadline: 24 h from now.
It seems artistically very beautiful, though the reviews point out that the gameplay might not be the best. Still a valid addition to your library in my opinion.
Gosh, there was another beautiful game in recent years that I didn’t think was very good, and I quit playing it even though I wanted to see more beautiful environments. I can’t think of what it was called.
