No by that I mean “not at all”.

There are a lot of situations in which I have difficulties to understand the figurative meaning of the english expressions, of the slang. Usually Reverso Context helps me,

this time it seems to have been not effective as usual

That’s because the actual phrase is ‘for shit’ (singular). When I put that into Reverso Context it gives good examples.

‘For shits’ usually means ‘for shits and giggles’, meaning ‘for a laugh’.
