LucasArts Soundtrack Jamming Session

Hey guys,

I just saw that Google made this… thing where you can make music in the browser. So… let’s get jamming!

Here’s my first attempt at Le Chuck’s Theme: https://goo.gl/a5QRQr

Shiver me timbers!

That’s quite mesmerising to watch

Well, there goes my will to work today.

You’re welcome! I would argue that making a song with this tool is work, albeit unpaid work.

Good job with the theme!

Interesting little app I must say, reminds me of FLstudio.

I gave it a go and made this, a simplified version of my favourite song from Sam & Max Hit The Road.

I tried a few but it always sounds like The Shaggs trying to perform Music for 18 Musicians.

For an extra challenge, compose the entire song by singing into your mic.
(Be sure to change the range to 3 octaves in the settings first, then click Mic.)

That’s great! Congratulations! Although, I think there’s something wrong with the melody around measures #23-24

Wow, that’s awesome! How long did it take?

Do you mean amending like this Chrome Music Lab - Song Maker ?

Exactly!
Sorry if I haven’t been more specific.
I didn’t study music, so I didn’t know how to fix it.

I just heard an error in the first melody. Your correction seems perfect to me.

I think it took me about 30 minutes…

I must give it a try… but I can’t reproduce an electric guitar to make the Thimbleweed Park intro!

Make a remix with other instruments! (What about a disco sound version?)

Well… I can go to sleep now.

Yeah, it’s not a LucasArts tune, but it fits the time period: https://goo.gl/6ra2vY
