Steam warning: unable to sync

I have not played this game on another PC. I have not modified any files in the Windows Roaming folder.
Anyone have experience with this? What do you suggest I do? (did not click Play yet)

And what is it I will lose. The cloud saves, or the local saves?

Could be a temporary glitch with the Steam Saves, or connectivity with their servers. I would cancel, fully close and reopen Steam, and try again.

Seems so, restarting Steam solved it.
