Gobl(i)iins 1 and 2 haven’t much text AFAIR. So that shouldn’t matter. I’m more concerned about the puzzles: Aren’t they too difficult for a 3 year old?
I would recommend that game, but not for a 3 year old kid. 
I don’t think that he/she/it is able to follow the story.
