(Yeah, I registered in the AGS forum many, many, many years ago, I believe in 2002 more or less)

The profile page says 2005. I thought I had an old account too but it seems like I never made one in this forum. (It would have been another name anyway.)
Btw. during the registering process you have to answer a whole quiz (to keep jerks out).
And when posting they ask complicate questions:

Don’t remember if back then, I had to answer those difficult questions. Maybe I did, I was younger and full of energies…
Did you read the books whose label start with “13:” ?
They are located on the first floor, near the staircase, and are 13 books all linked together.
Start with “13: A Worthy Beginning”, read the story, then, at the end, you can choose how to continue. All the choices are the name of the subsequent books.

While remembering the times I discovered AGS and the Maniac Mansion Mania series, because of The Castle now, I remembered that I never played the awarded games

I just checked AGS game list now…
I completely ignored the existance of a Maniac Mansion Mania series games!
I had downloaded Maniac Mansion Deluxe (which is an EXCELLENT porting of the original Maniac Mansion) back then. Now it comes with more languages (italian included).

Some of them are quite nice and funny. Others not. It´s a little hit an miss.

While winner in many AGS categories in 2013, it’s still free to play, available on Steam.
AFTER finishing The Castle, I must play it.

Yeah I couldn´t believe it too, but it is. The other ist 10€, that is ok I think.
And I especially like the description and the trailer from Heroins Quest.

Well… some puzzles were modified.
Yes, only a few, and some bugs were removed.
But would you still call it a “port”? I won’t because all of the solutions/walkthroughs won’t work anymore.
I just visted their homepage again and checked the international section, where all the translated episodes are. Very interesting finds there! But then I jumped back to a certain title and look what I recoginzed over there at the bottom of the page I think I´ve seen that sign already somewhere…

Hmm, I remember to have finished it in many ways, even if I didn’t try every known ending. Are there any endings not implemented?
Good question. 
I haven’t played it to the end, so I know only about some puzzles.
