Loving this right now

A coworker brought that back from a business trip to Slovakia, so to speak. We sampled it some more in the office today, and at home I just tuned in the internet radio to their stream.

Have you tried that (with some PS games)?

I havenÂŽt got any boxing gloves. Otherwise IÂŽd certainly try that myself!

Have you tried playing a versus game turning off the screen and using only audio?

I tried a FIFA game with a friend of mine using only the speaker to understand what was going on. It was pretty fun.

Apropos FIFA, I’m definitely loving the Women’s World Cup.

Women’s football is
strange, and I think it might improve a lot if they played with a smaller ball on a smaller field with smaller goals, but it’s very very entertaining and much more “sporty” than men’s football. I’ve seen girls taking hits that would have made a male footballer roll on the grass crying and asking for his mommy.

But what I wanted to share is Norway’s jersey.

Please notice the pixel-art dithering. Wonderful.

I don’t usually follow football, but yesterday I accidently started to watch the USA-Chile game, and I noticed I really enjoyed it, even though it wasn’t an even match.

Me too, it’s nice that in the case of the women’s team, we actually have a chance of winning!

Italy looks pretty good this year too

Chile’s goalkeeper is amazing though! I was entertained by just watching all of her amazing saves yesterday. Without her the score would have been much more embarrassing.

Yes, I noticed! USA kept the play on Chile’s end most of the time and really made the goalie work. And she did an outstanding job!

I read a comment that said “Women’s football: either world-class goalkeeping, or no goalkeeping at all” :stuck_out_tongue: there’s no in between.

I love it when companies interact with each other on their social media accounts like this

It’s rather good, too. At least the first three episodes.

Here’s another masterpiece from Pogo, this time featuring Putt Putt!

Check out the Kickstarter in the description too - it’s temporarily on hiatus, but hopefully it will return soon.

This inscribed Roman stylus is the most elaborate and expressive of its kind. The Roman equivalent of ‘I went to Rome and all I got you was this cheap pen’, it provides a touching personal insight into the humour of someone who lived nearly 2000 years ago! https://t.co/GkY8lAmZEJ pic.twitter.com/v0Omt6gO9B

I have come from the City. I bring you a welcome gift
with a sharp point that you may remember me.
I ask, if fortune allowed, that I might be able (to give)
as generously as the way is long (and) as my purse is empty.

So definitely not a cheap stylus .
