I think it only alerts you when new episodes are available. And they write “new episodes” or something over the pictures in the list.

Oh, I forgot Disenchantment August 17 on Netflix!
So I have seen all 31 episodes of Rick & Morty so far and still have no idea what the deal with the oddly shaped pupils is. Any theories on that?
Those dark asterisks? I assumed they were backup eyeballs after the eye-o-dine incident.
Not they always looked like this for everybody.

Awesome! I didn’t know about it either. Netflix usually does a good job of putting stuff right in your face when they first come out.
Was Season 1 any good? I mean I love the Ninetendo games, but you know…
they also made a movie about Battleship. 
It was more like an elaborate setup. If you put all episodes of season one together you got one solid 90 minute pilot. So it was very short, but the art style is great. As for the plot it might help if Dracula´s Curse is your favourite game, because that is where the characters are from. I enjoyed it so far and season 2 should be at least twice as long.

How is this for a netflix recommendation?
Has anybody watched Nailed it? It’s pretty fun, especially considering that my wife is into baking and cake design, and she feared she’s bad at it. It was a nice confidence boost for her
I actually liked the first 3 episodes of Castle Rock so much, I really wish I could have seen them. Because being not in the US, I obviously haven´t!

So I did something I never did before. I subscribed to yet another service simply to take advantage of the free trial month because they got season 3 of The Strain on there.
And it is definitely worth is, is what I can say after watching the first two episodes. I have no idea why but this show is just. so. great. Del Torro did an amazing job with this!

I heard that too. Could be a while until the next batch comes, though? And you reckon they stay with the 10 episode seasons or will they do longer ones (with 70 episodes that would mean 7 more years and I don´t think they´d plan ahead that long) ?
Yeah, apparently they’ve said no earlier than late 2019. From the sounds of it Dan Harmon struggles with the production side a tad (I hadn’t realised he got fired from Community). His intentions sound good but I’m not holding my breath…
He talks about doing longer series but again it seems like that’d be a struggle. And I wouldn’t want it to compromise the quality.
Just seen that the Pickle Rick episode has been nominated for an Emmy recently
