I will just let you argue with yourself here ![]()
Ok, you convinced me. I mean⦠I convinced me.

So, to be completely clear about what I have decided here⦠the game will be released all together. Is that it?
So, do we have the game title there?
Lol! That will surely be the name of the sequel, if I ever make one!
I really like the light reflecting off the water in the second one! And how colourful the third one is. Great work!
Thank you Tasse
I have to say the hardest part is the integration between charater and background⦠Sometimes itās very hard to find a model for character faces, and then putting them in the right pose.
As to that, I still have to characterize a few characters that you donāt know, since you only played the first part: the Dragon, Heracles Perrot, The King, The Twelve Graduates, Oliviaās father, The Countess, Mr. Higgins, the Wizard of the East, the Golem, The Pope, Sir Manso de Zuniga, a mysterious little girl, a couple more that will be easy, and lastly the undead pirate Gaetano OāConnor, which I think will be similar to LeChuck :).
The first three only. The last one looks familiar, but I donāt remember a dog⦠or do I?
Ah yes, I do! I just remembered the puzzle there (based on the background) and how that dog⦠SPOILER
Dammit, that picture is a spoiler. Everybody please unsee it!
Edit⦠No, after all it isnāt a spoiler⦠you donāt know how you got that dog there.
They have improved very much!
āHelp me, Olivia! My son has been kidnapped!ā
āGOOD! I mean⦠donāt worry, Madam, Iāll rescue him!ā
āthank you dear! Can you bring him in time for supper?ā
For this characterās face, I took the eyes of Ron Gilbert! But (as he strangely wasnāt grumpy enough), I took the mouth from someone else
Ooooo, thereās a potential for a pun / in-joke there! ![]()
but no fourth-wall breaking in this game
There are references to our world, but the characters wonāt understand them
- āGo to chop the wood.ā
- āBut I am only 6!ā
- āGo to chop the wood!!!ā
- āOK.ā

I wanna play your adventure again!
Chopping the wood was actually the very last thing I did in part 1 of the game. Take that, Oliviaās mum!
(It was the last puzzle I figured out how to solve.)
Letās not forget that everything started with āMom, Iām boredā:
OLIVIA: āMom, Iām boredā
MOM: āWhat was it you said, dear?ā
OLIVIA: āI said Iām bored.ā
MOM: āGo chop the wood, then. Youāll see youāll no longer be bored.ā
In this light, the Momās response seems perfectly reasonable and completely deserved, doesnāt it? ![]()
(That is basically my reaction when my daughter tells me sheās bored)
