All three Spellcasting adventure games are now available on GOG (DRM free):
Whoa, the GUI is… intimidating.
Then I noticed the weird drawings and the subtitle is “Sorcerers get all the girls”. >> << >_>
The description says by the same guy as “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy” which was recently recommended to me. My response was that I didn’t even know there was a game, but I enjoyed the books.
So that’s basically two negatives to one positive.
Any more info?
These are text adventures. They are very funny and were developed in 1990 by Steve Meretzky. I think one could classify them as an “insider tip”. The release on GOG is a re-release. You can get more information about the game on Wikipedia:
Yes and no. Steve Meretzky co-created the “The Hitchhiker’s Guide To The Galaxy” game - together with Douglas Adams.
You can still play it online:

But remember that this was a text adventure game too.
I think that much goes without saying.
Check out the Stories Untold Demo on GOG. Some of the later episodes can occasionally become a touch tedious but the first episode was an entertaining text adventure.
Thanks for the info!
