That’s the most interesting analysis of the story I’ve read so far. It’s pretty clear that the player becomes part of the story acting as an explicit deus ex machina. It’s interesting to point out the literal meaning of the expression “deus ex machina”, whis is “god from the machine”. It’s a perfect description of us!
