Similar here, but I wouldn’t say “the people”. There are a lot of stupid ones, but at the moment it doesn’t seem to be the majority. The people who haven’t learned anything are currently the “party people” – and the drunk ones are very aggressive as it seems. In Germany we have the additional “problem” at the moment that the summer holidays started, so the pupils and students are going to party too…
One relative died, a friend (not living in my area) got it in a very mild form.
I have to admit that I haven’t missed much. I’m working from my own office anyway and I’m introverted, so maybe that helped a little bit. I don’t like crowded places and/or major events. And the small events I liked opened up again (with special distancing concepts that are working very well, IMHO).
But beside the negative things, the virus brought up some positive ones:
It showed to me what’s really important to my live (and that I’ve enough clothes in my wardrobe )
It revealed that the people out there could be very creative and very social.
By accident?
Sounds like a hell of a moving company… You moved my stuff WHERE??
Then again, that’ll teach you to call them when you had a cold and told them you wanted to move to Hannover.
