Strange, after having so much trouble clearing it with one, I came back to the game and cleared it with the rest of the characters with only a couple failed runs.
Not sure what island you’re taking about with thieves? I guess I missed something.

On all the runs I did (close to 100), I’ve only seen them about 4 or 5 times, usually in the later green levels.
I guess there’s a lot I haven’t seen, as evidenced by my fairly bare Collection screen. I just did a Chad run and was forced to take the raft at level 6 because I guess I had too much gold (~1300). Odd design decision, imo.
that banker with the top hat and fur coat is called “capitalist” in the collection.
I’ve finished my run with Chad on the second try… I ran back into the fire to pick up a quest item and got stuck
Then I took Pastor Paul for another run at the hardest level and beat it in the first go (even without trading my gems for a 10% discount). I think I got the hang of it.
On most leaderboards, I am at rank 180-200. This isn’t a game you can ever really complete, so I am happy with all of them where they are for now.

The same applies for me: I don’t refuse Steam or Epic either - I have some games on each of them in my library. And if I grow too impatient, I will buy it on Steam.
Anyway, a release on GOG has not been announced yet, has it?
