Luckily, dollar rate is low at the moment, so that amounts to +/- €285. 
While this sounds excessive, if you bought all 5 games new on release day I doubt you’d come away any cheaper. Just with a lot less stuff to catch dust on your shelf

This means following languages:
- MI1: EFIGS (only English has voice overs)

So no EGA and all possible versions … I think they tweeted once that they would try and get all versions on there.

I’ll think about it… but the price is definitely quite steep, especially considering I already have them all on CD-ROM and GOG. I don’t think I want to pay € 200+ for a book. (Or at least not this book. I’m sure there are books I’d be willing to pay € 200+ for. 
)

So, that’s the thing some guy from “LA” has been hyping as a new exciting thing for MI fans and some people thought it’s gonna be a new game, maybe even from Ron himself. It reminds me of facing Meathook’s beast in MI1. I expected something just like this.

Seems like all taxes/duties are included in that shipping (DDP) for most countries.
So that puts it (just) below €200…

That’s why I always tell Paypall to have my bank handle the conversion. Saves me that 5% mark-up.

Yes and not only that, but down here in Australia Ozisoft also had the rights to the game (the VGA version at least), as well as KIXX (Monkey Island 2) competing against the Lucasfim Games, or what millennials would call “oem”, release.
People forget that back then computer stores that were filled with games - now a computer shop is devoid of games and you find the games in a mixed entertainment retailer.
Fun fact: yesterday a new guy joined our team, at work. He was born in 1997, young & fresh, and I have to be his master.
Well, during our training session, I’ve received a couple of messages on my smartphone. I have set the refrain of the Monkey Island intro as the notification ringtone.
Suddenly, the new guy stated: “Oh, that sounds like the Secret of Monkey Island…”
