I’ve definitely been mispronouncing it in my head this past year.
Awesome! Now it’s your chance to be the famous lead singer of the crowd-sourced ThimbleweedPark Forum Theme Song™

If I should ever relocate to an english speaking country I would probably change my name to Milon or something like that because everyone would get that right. Though in the US my last name would maybe people assume I was jewish, even though my hair speaks against that.
Sorry we hijacked your thread @Someone but I think we have a first verse here:
I kiled a man down at trestle trail just to watch him die.
I left him there a-pixelatin’ under the sunset skyyyyy
Went down to Willie’s dirrrrty dumpster [and tried to hide]
Those agents could not catch me even if they tried-a-reno
harp parp
How did that tell you?
Oh sorry, I thought I was starting a new rhyme rather than continuing the previous one. But your way probably makes more sense with blues!
That comes after the last beat of the line. But maybe it can be squeezed in somehow into the next one(so the a-reno preceeds the harp barp or something).
Because of the many "aaaaaaaa"s? But you could always blame that on Scully.
Mind you, I wouldn´t have anything against being all curly and that.
Ohhhh. I forgot I did that. See, that’s why it’s not safe to play with spelling, children.
No problem - this is far more interesting than my stuff! (And I hope that @Calypso will spend this topic an own thread
)
Not to be confused with Harp Barb.
What topic? We totally went youth gone wild on this thread many posts ago.
“Creating the official unofficial TWP song”
Gosh, that´s adorable!
If you do that three times in a row I will appear and read you quotes from the “Book of George Meyer”.
What about the refrain
The signals are strong tonight, the signals are strong tonight
“a-reno, a-reno, a-boooooo”
I love it time to record a riff on my piano
That as a backing choir chant would actually be pretty cool. We could just have one or a few persons voices multiplied.
What genre should it be?
One that fits to the TWP scenario.
Oi! Punk then, got it!
