But, but, but that’s not 80s! Audio cassettes were 80s!
I was really baffled to see yet another documentary recently where they again claimed that when the CD was introduced in the early 80s it quickly pushed the vinyl record off the market. If anything did that in the 80s it was the cheaper audio cassette, the CD taking over did not happen until well into the 90s.
