How dare you, heretical blasphemer!

Burn, burn in the flames of hell!
P.S. Note the use of pitchfork.

And comparing the two guys facial expressions the guy on the right burning in fire looks infinitely happier than the torturer on the left don´t you think?
That was exactly my thought!
He’s torturing him because he won’t help him with the monkey wrench puzzle in MI2
Now it should be better.

Anyway, if it wasn’t clear, mine was irony about some “offhand remark”, apocryphal texts or lectures that let devotees be even more integralist about “sacred texts” rather than their actual contents. With a little self-irony about the pitchforks, that in the iconography (!
) should represent
us backers-followers of the development blog.
P.S. I know, I know, that’s too nerdy even for myself!
No no, it´s alright. I read Dante´s Inferno and with tons of footnotes I even think I got some of it.
(because it´s so 15th century florentine topical, you see)
Ah, I thought I was the heretic being burned, lol. Just the right thing to do when I’ve spoken against the sacred MI3a : P I also thought it was fitting that the heretic’s face was happy, because I’m content with what we’ve gotten, whereas the average Ron Gilbert Monkey Island fan will never be able to get what they want, since it seems MI3a will never be a reality.

@Nor_Treblig, Ladies and Gentlemen! The definite resource to quick random access to Ron’s quotes, appearances,…
Also… does that banner read “Thank you, suckers?”

No. You can clearly see the corner of the letter above Greg’s head, so it can’t be a round one like ‘S’.
Maybe it starts with ‘F’?
Haha, yeah now he only needs to find one where he holds a bottle!
Plus: he never sleeps.

See, @tasse-tee? That´s like two or three tables across where we sat, next to the kitchen entrance it looks like! ![]()

Lucasfilm games was amazing, i liked Dark Forces stuff with them too (The 2 first especially) but cannon stuff is not in the lore of star wars anymore…
I would like to see more Monkey Island games, more with a serious design like mi1 & 2 but the cartoonish style of MI3 (and 4-5) could be cool too, anything with humor, islands and pirates, just not farther in the future to avoid a different era who could not fit so much (cannon or alternative story are good for that).
Bought recently some games from Lucasfilms, some point&click games like Day of the Tentacle ^^ hope something good will happen for LucasFilm Games…
