Yeah maybe. I think that a lot about various unsolved crimes. Like JonBenet Ramsey - someone commented recently that once the parents have passed away maybe the brother will speak out. Unless he did it of course, which is one theory.

Oh, it is a procedual? I wasn´t actually expecting that, but I´m liking it. I´m guessing it is a mixture of murder of the week with a progressing plot raising suspicion about Dr. Lecter?. So in the style of Dexter? I´d be fine with that. Also, I´m I right in assuming this leads into the plot of Red Dragon (essentially adaptating that story for the third time)?
I´m also kinda hoping this avoids any references to Hannibal Rising.
I don’t remember Hannibal being a procedural exactly. It’s really more of its own thing… it has a very unique visual style I think you would probably like.
But I remeber reading internet gossip at the time and someone made a very good point: HIS NAME RHYMES WITH CANNIBAL!!! Why does no one notice this?

Only seen two episodes thus far, but there was a murder case in the first one that was solved and a seperate one in the second one, so I can expect another one and another one in the next two?
Jaysus, I mean the first book is like 37 years old or something. Sure enough people took notice in that time, they just didn´t write any OMG Facebook posts about it.
I meant characters in the show, not people IRL. 
It has that sort of Dexter suspense where you’re just waiting for him to be found out. But Dexter (the character) seemed better at hiding it.

Did really no one notice that? Wasn’t he, in The Silence of the Lambs, explicitly addressed as “Hannibal the Cannibal”?
Silence Of The Lambs is the story following Red Dragon and the Hannibal show leads up to the events of that. So his noterierty wasn´t established yet.

Am I seeing things or do some of the rooms in Hannibal look like rooms from The Shining?!
Noticed this at least twice now. A public bathroom (looking like the one where Jack talks to Grady) and a room (and bath) that looked like room 237.

I actually didn´t until I saw her name in the credits! And yes she´s real good, and she looks great! For some reason better than in the new X Files seasons.
I´m also glad I already saw the one thing I already had seen before I started watching the show. The human cello.

Yeah, I think that’s why she looked so different to how I expected, because I’d seen her in this. My (genuine) theory is that they tried to make her look a bit like an alien for obvious reasons, and also that Scully’s the kind of character who wouldn’t obsess over her appearance. That’s why all that plastic surgery shtick she got annoyed me - I felt the slightly skeletal look was intentional, but people assumed it was Gillian, not Dana!
Phew, excuse me, apparently I had some pent-up feelings there.
Oh crap I’d forgotten about that! I need to watch that series again!

Haha, yeah seems like. But I agree with you and find that theory interesting.
It´s really great and I´ve obviously heard nothing but great things about it when it was on, but it only just was added to the german amazon prime, so I can finally watch it all now.
