I like Scabb Island.
It’s quiet, the town looks… pittoresque. And since this Largo guy (massive spoiler ahead) is gone it’s really pleasent there.
Also they have great musicians and a nice Pommesbude.

I gotta agree there. For some reason I love towns built on poles in the water. Even though those exist in asia and other places, and all look terrible. But in games they´re always great.
Like Riften in Skyrim
Or Watermia in Illusion of Gaia
And of course the artificial atoll in Water World, too.
Probably Mêlée. It has a very good government and lots of opportunities for an aspiring pirate to train his fighting and insulting skills.
Otherwise Scabb Island, but only after the embargo has been lifted.
I wouldn’t mind Phatt Island, provided we can get rid of the governor. Nice library. Nice fishing pier. Nice pieces of eight.

I think I’d go for Plunder Island 
it’s got Sun, Sand, a Leisure club, the theatre, a fine dining restaurant, a barber shop and a old castle. It looks so vivid too
It’s a lovely town! Also the clock is working correctly.
Mêlée. That walk from Scumm bar to the town… oh the memories…
Definitely Phatt Island… peaceful, sunny, calm and there is some civilization.
Booty Island would be other option if there was a library

I would prefer Melee Island because of the Scumm Bar, the Circus and a cute sword master. In my holidays I would travel to Monkey Island.
