I think another reason we don’t have a release date yet is because they want to be absolutely sure they can make it. The last thing you want is to promise something you can’t deliver on. I remember with Thimblweed Park, they had to wait for Microsoft’s certification process to go through for the Xbox version before announcing a release date because they wanted all launch platforms to come out on the same day. Maybe something like that is happening with Nintendo for the Switch and it’ll be done by next month?

I’d suggest to just call it com1. Would be no issue on Linux, so that’s all we really need? :smiley:

I feel like that, on Monday, we’ll either get a release date… or the game right away.

Ron is known for these kind of things. He just talked about making the executable file.

Devolver has been insisting on us wishlisting the game even though there is no release date, and they said that there will be fun news next month.

The short clips Ron and Dave are sharing make me feel like the game will arrive sooner than later.

Maybe it’s just wishful thinking, but knowing Ron and how he has been handling the marketing of the game, it would not be surprising.

So, IMO, either the game comes out on Monday, later this week, or at the end of August, like St_Eddie said.

… I mean, hopefully, because the wait is killing me, ha, ha. :slight_smile:
