There’s nothing new on the horizon on that front. A clear warning that a particular topic could contain spoilers and rigorously using the spoiler tags is probably the best solution?

I agree. I’m not sure if it could actually happen, though. That’s mainly because “official” might imply Disney, which would complicate everything.

In the Multiplayer.it interview you posted on RTMI chest of articles thread Dave mentioned that there is a memory album in the game:
In Return to Monkey Island, however, there will also be a memory album, a book in which Guybrush has collected the drawings of all his past adventures: just click on the various illustrations to dust off the memory of the protagonist and get some more details about the world and its inhabitants.

Yes, a previous older article also mentioned a “recap feature” for players who needed to refresh their memories, but this new article provides the exact details of what the feature is.
The panel is being held at Horse Theatre (2:30 PM - 4:00 PM PST) and PAX3 streamed sessions at the Horse Theatre yesterday. Thus, I think that Adventure Games: Heroes and Legends session will be on PAX3.

This might be old (German) news, but Captain Madison is confirmed to be the tall pirate leader and is definitely a “she”.
Sorry if this is common knowledge.
Rex loves the new pirate leaders. Yeah, sorry not sorry, but I am definitely going to continue mentally associating Rex Crowle with the hip new pirate leaders changing Mêlée Island - no avoiding it at this point.

I like the fact that the game does close-ups during a dialogue.
Does the mug in front of Madison move? 
Yeah her arms are very thin so you can’t make it out but if you rewatch the first second of the video you’ll notice she’s holding the mug.
