Save Games & GOG Galaxy

Hi everyone! Forgive me if this has been answered elsewhere, but I couldn’t find anything pertaining to my specific situation:

I would like to transfer the saves from my old computer to a new one, but I’m having trouble finding the location of the save game files in GOG Galaxy. I was able to gather from other posts that the filetype is .save, but when I search the game folder and even GOG Galaxy’s folders, they’re nowhere to be found. I also performed a search of my entire computer in case the save games were stored in a Documents folder somewhere.

I also attempted to copy the entire installation of TWP from my old computer to the new one, but when I do there’s still no option to load a saved game from the main menu.

Any thoughts or help? At this point, I’m thinking that maybe GOG Galaxy is storing the save game files as a part of its installation…?

Have you checked %USERPROFILE%\AppData? Probably roaming or something.

TWP stores its savegames and game settings in %APPDATA%\Terrible Toybox\Thimbleweed Park\
Just copy this whole folder to your new computer!

Ah, there they are! Windows’ search function sucks, ha. Thank you!

I’ll try importing them tonight or tomorrow and report back…
