I’ll try decrease the light source on the left instead…
…there… I’ve removed much of the light source behind the employee. I think it’s better now
good suggestion!
edit: even more aggressive removal:
Chop Quest is good, but the first part of your second suggestion is a gay slur.
Let’s choose an adjective that starts with a different letter. How about “wonderful”? But then the game would be about a very different person
“WAG” is short for “wife or girlfriend” of a sports player. A WAG often has a glamorous lifestyle and is talked about a lot in the media.
Errr… it’s no longer in the google app store?
Uh… no, it’s not anymore
long story. I’ll put it back somewhen in the next months.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1251910/Kill_Yourself/ you can hear the theme in the trailer video here
Still… how *beep*ing awesome would it be to have your music done by Michael Land?
Or Peter McConnel?
Why not Matthew Kane? He’s probably easier to get in touch with…We all know a guy who knows him very well…
It’s that I feel more comfortable insulting Guga than insulting Michael Land, but we’ll see…
I like the lighting on the girls here
You do? I was going to change it… seems too dark and desaturated…
I really do, it feels right with the backlight and all.
I’d mayyyyybe add longer shadows, as the light comes from behind.
right… I did that for the chest, but I forgot for the girls…
I have a lot of these retouches to do…
The light is generally speaking awesome!
I also like the fact the girls are way too small for their surroundings. Which gives it a more faerie tale feel.
LOWQ: Little Olivia’s Woodchopping Quest
Or “Little Olivia in her Quest to Chop the Wood”.
I like all these suggestions… but I don’t want any reference to wood and chopping in the title; that would “sterilize” the most important joke in the game, which should instead grab you and make you want to play…
In that case, what about just “Olivia’s Quest” or “Little Olivia’s Quest”?
the name Olivia doesn’t convey anything important… I prefer the more generic “Little Girl” …
So… what about “Little Girl’s Quest”? Ok but “Little Girl In Monsterland” is more interesting to me… (Just like “Guybrush’s Quest” wouldn’t be better than “Monkey Island”…)
I actually quite like the idea of a little girl accomplishing an epic quest. Then it becomes parodistic… but it’s good if at least in the title it feels a bit epic.
Aside from the title music, I think each location could have a 3-seconds jingle, when you enter. … (then silence, for the reasons stated above…)
this would establish the mood of the location…
Each? Isn’t that too annoying? ![]()
