to me he looks exhasperated, like someone that feels persecuted. and also, slightly amused. Which is ok for the character. He is a character who is crazy, sadist, but also feels persecuted.

I painted more white eye there, and got the less amused version…
It looks like one of those “spot the 7 differences!” things, but without any actual differences.
