Don’t forget to check in every week to get another episode of the season for free…

Conspirocracy is 50% off and is very interesting . It has a good review on adventuregamers.
Oh that’s great! I backed Conspirocracy exactly today 7 years ago on Indiegogo and was released about a year later on Desura (remember this platform?).
Glad to see this game is still available!
90% off!! DRM-free! (until Tuesday-ish)
At this price (€1.30), it doesn’t even matter if that is Earl Boen doing LeChuck’s voice or not in episode 1.
If you don’t have this game yet and enjoyed playing any of the first Monkey Island three games (or appreciated the fourth installment for its groundbreaking 3D…) : GET IT!
So you have never activated the 3D mode in Curse of Monkey Island?
Groundbreaking stuff.
In principle yes, but I wonder what that Archi guy has to say about this.
Röki is currently on sale on GOG and Steam (-50%).
From a review:
It gives me the same feeling as playing an Ori game. That same enchanting and surreal atmosphere, that pulls you into the world, where you end up meeting mythical folkloric creatures, exploring abandoned ruins of past civilizations and trying to rescue a family member from a the “villain”.
A Vampyre Story by Autumn Moon Entertainment (Bill Tiller) got released on GOG and you can get it for a bargain (80% off).
Now let’s hope Ghost Pirates of Vooju Island also gets there and then maybe some sequels…
Altered Destiny is (re-released) on Gog with a discount. I’ve played it in the early 90s, but I can’t remember the story nor the puzzles. So maybe it’s not that good…
But on the upside, nor that bad.
Tales of the Neon Sea is free today on Epic Games
That’s the one game I bought that so far refused to work with Wine. Maybe time to give it another try …
Wait, what did I do?
I have never seen this game before, it seems to be Sierra-style-die-a-lot, but it looks really great!
Kajko i Kokosz (GOG) is a Polish point’n’click adventure from 1994/1995 in comic book art style (based on a comic book).
It was released on GOG about a year ago but only caught my attentention now when I saw the sale (2.19€ / $2.58).
There is only a Polish version on GOG (there was also a Czech version I’ve read), but there are people out there doing fan translations and stuff, yay!
You can get the English translation for both CD and Floppy version at Vogons.
(Note: Press ‘t’ to turn on/off subtitles when playing the CD version.)
Often dialogue is shortened to fit the original character count (translation was done directly in executable) so it can sound awkward.
I’ve just tried it and for me the English version is definitely better understandable than the Polish one
Back in the early 90s there was an attraction touring the german funfairs called “Sensorium” that refered to itself as a “theatre of the senses” the basic concept was that of a multimedia show where you got the feel of entering a computer all Tron style! It featured a lasershow, fire, waterfountains, simulated snow and above all scenes from various then current computer games on a big video screen. Altered Destiny was apprently one of them, Wing Commander 2 another. I seem the remember a show where they had scenes from Elvira, Mistress of the Dark. I also heard of other games featured.
Do any of you remember that? It was an amazing show, too bad I only saw one.
Uhm… AFAIR it was Sierra-style in every aspect.
I totally missed that!
