It is planned as a trilogy although there may be a (small) chance 2&3 will be released at once.
Release on GOG was denied (for now). It will be released on itch.io though. The Steam version is also DRM-free.

There’s a small playable demo out now, if anyone is into that sort of thing.

You awake to find yourself in a Dark Room!
The live-action text adventure show finally has its own videogame! Coming to Steam Early Access on September 20th.
You can pre-order “My Memory of Us”, the release is on 9th October:
28 posts were split to a new topic: Seguso’s Adventure Game Thread
If of interest, I wrote about some upcoming dystopian pixel art games (198X, Tales of the Neon Sea and Backbone) for That’s Not Current.
I’m particularly excited about Backbone (raccoon detective!) The artwork and production looks to be of a very high standard.
The guy who runs the hilarious “Welcome to my meme page” facebook page is making a text adventure sort of game and is doing a Kickstarter for it… things really kick off at 1:07 in the video -
Heliophobia ("… is a first-person horror/mystery adventure presented through a surreal, non-linear narrative. You awake on a vacant plane, given only a singular task: kill the one with the initials “J.R.”.")
Amanita Design is working on “Creaks”:
Which btw. will be platformer, so a rather unusual type of game from Amanita Design.
They had platformer elements in their last games. And “Creaks” reminds me more of “Candle”, because:
… Amanita has confirmed to Adventure Gamers that the gameplay is still “very much” puzzle-based.
Wasn’t Botanicula literally a platformer? If it wasn’t then it sure felt like one.
When I saw the teaser for Creaks it didn’t even look like it’s going to be a platformer, but they said it is.
I’m fine with a game like Candle or The Cave.
I tried the demo years ago… I couldn’t get the controls
Retro Synthesis (according to the Kickstarter update the project is suspended…)
7 adventure games to look out for in 2019
Includes 5 that are already on my personal list, so the titles aren’t too surprising. But the fact that somebody manages to compile such a list and absolutely hits my taste of video games is a rare feat that cannot be ignored .
Those are some great ones!
I haven’t heard of Observation by No Code yet, looks like a game I’d like to play. It’s from the makers of Stories Untold so there is hope of a release on GOG.
