Continuing the discussion from Upcoming book: "The Art of Point + Click Adventure Games":

There is a new book being published by Bitmap Books:

The physical edition of The CRPG Book: A Guide to Computer Role-Playing Games can now be preordered on their website (US shop):

  • There is a Standard Edition, and a Collector’s Edition (limited to 1,000 units; “The book will come within a heavy-duty board slipcase with metallic gold branding and include an A2 rolled poster, A4 Dungeon Map Pad, branded pencil and a pack of 5 postcards.”).
  • Delivery is planned in March 2019.
  • The digital e-book will be available for free.
  • Profits from the physcial book will be donated to Vocação.

Also worth highlighting again:

As a reminder, this is still a non-profit project, ALL the money I would make from this will be donated to Vocação, an NGO that helps young people in poor areas of Brazil.

They did a great job with this RPG book, same as the Point & Click book.
Those guys rock.

An expanded version has just been made available, with about 150 pages of additional cRPG goodness.

Too bad there’s no way to update the printed copy (other than buying a new one, once it comes out).
