I know I’m over-101-ing lately but seriously

:door: bloke opposite me picking his nose and flicking it (like, a full-grown adult)

Where can I emigrate to where this doesn’t happen?

Not to germany…

(ha, we´re not done with the footie yet!)

:joy: Yuck. Do you think the guy next to him is asking if he found a good’un?

:door: People that in an important conversation ask you to reset yourself.

Reset yourself. Argh. :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: :triumph: :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: Thank goodness I don’t swear in English!

Not sure what that means?

WTF?! That’s rude. Tell them to discontinue themselves.

Haha, that’s great!
I wish I had the proper comeback when I needed it.

Resettati (literally reset yourself)
It was intended as “forget all we’ve said before” (according to the speaker, hmpf), but obviously it was not the best expression to use (and probably it was used with intention), since it is destined to be understood as “do a reset on what you have said and proposed since now during the conversation, because now I talk”. Also resettare in italian comes directly from English in its meaning concerning information technology.

What about
Ah, so you played TWP too?

Wouldn’t that be like suggesting to someone to commit suicide? Now what kind of monster would do such a thing? :scream:

Or how about:
Stop mid-sentence, look around the room then to the other person who told you to reset and go excuse me, have we met before?

Subtle.

throws back imaginary cape

Oh I see. I interpreted it as ‘sort yourself out’. So yeah, not very clear of them!

:door: lazy TV reboots.

I’d be curious to know if the devs have anything to put in Room 101.

What grinds your gears @David @RonGilbert?
