Oh yes it was Chaplin! But IĀ“m certain IĀ“ve also heard it attributed to others. Probably Elvis because there are so many imitators and him participating but not being recognized would fit the āElvis Livesā legends(pretty sure the imitator phenomenon only came about after his death).
So Octavi should arrive at third place?
Wouldn“t go that far but the joke would be the same.
Iād like to point out at this, er, point that my answers are based solely on memory, without any replaying - you know, so that when my crap score comes through it doesnāt look quite so bad
I like to make things hard for myself.
My vocabulary is really not so hot today.
That“s okay I understood you. And I usually don“t understand anything anyone says.
I will send you my answers soonā¦
Had a lot of fun hunting through TWP this morning and some of these were really tricky!
A couple I am still stumped on, but I had to give up and start work.
Here is the screenshot from which I took the out-of-contest image that proved to be quite difficult to guess:
I assume itās the train gallery.
yeah, very good catch!
Ohhhh. Clever ![]()
Iām confused about this though:
I had difficulty in positioning the train gallery in that exact position, because when the character walks to the right, the gallery moves, too (parallax). You must click on a precise point in order to make the gallery visible in that spot.
Oh I seeee, I hadnāt remembered it scrolling like that.
The game is now over and I want to thank all the people who have participated, both officially and in a non official form! It has been a fun game for me and I hope you liked it as well.
Iāll reveal the winner (and the score of Octavi) in a second post, just to tease you all a bit.
In the meantime, here are the correct answers of the quiz, starting with the places that were correctly guessed by just a few people.
Places correctly guessed only by two people
Image 5:

This is a āNo entryā sign that appears on the fence that you can see outside Ransomeās trailer. Itās a tricky one because you can see this low part of the screen only when the user interface disappears, when Ransome starts jumping on the trampoline.
Image 12:

Vacuum tube on the left column of Chuckās tomb. A few people condused it with other vacuum tubes.
Image 16:

Mirror above the fireplace of the Edmund Mansion mansion foyer. Even if this element covers a quite substantial part of the screen, it seems that it didnāt stuck in peopleās mind.
Several people thought it was something elsewhere, including ThimbleCon, the hotel penthouse and in the Edmund Mansion mansion library.
Image 26:

This is a lion head that appears on the left column of the gate of the Edmund Mansion mansion. More than one person thought that it was near Madame Morena shop, maybe because of the foliage around the head.
Places correctly guessed only by three people
Image 8:

This is the sign on the Big Top that you can see from outside the circus gates, just for a few seconds, when Ransome opens the gate.
Image 13:

Image of a New York statue that appears in the painting of Edmund Edmund, on the last floor of the Edmund Mansion mansion library.
Images 28:

Occult book store, middle window on the left that you can see climbing the ladder.
All the other places

Image 18:

Stay tuned to know who the winner is!
Grrrr ![]()
And yes, you can open the wireframe version as well.
My PS4 replay of the game is upcomming, I“ll make a list of new things to try. I take a few notes and report a bit here when I“m playing.
PIG * BEEP * !!! I didnāt recognize it, it was so easy!
Oh⦠I had absolutely no idea! My mind was stuck to door cabinet somewhereā¦
Really tricky, congratulations!
So, itās time to see who won the contest, but before that let me thank @OctaviNavarro for playing with us even if it was completely obvious since the beginning that he would have scored a full 30/30, which he has.
I awkwardly tried to find a thin imprecision in his description of one of the places just for the satisfaction of saying that he didnāt describe correctly everything but of course my attempt at splitting hairs has been fully unsuccessful.
Ron also scored 30/30 because he claimed so publicly.
And now, the winner of the competitionā¦
And the winner isā¦

The winner is @BigRedButton !
Congratulations!
@BigRedButton has been the first contestant who sent to me (on Nov 12, 1:40 PM - CET) 26 correct answers.
I will send to him the links to get the prizes!
Thanks for participating, folks. It has been fun.
I donāt believe him. ![]()
We ALL agree that!
BTW, it was fun this contest, I thought to have played Thimbleweed Park enough times to recognize every particular, but I was wrong ![]()
The difference is the pink wallpaper, it only exists in the real bank.
