Curse and Maniac Mansion come to GOG! Sweet!

It´s a quote from discourse´s software that scolds in these words for replying too often to the same person in a thread. I got this one so much already and mostly with the same person, too.

Milan and Kate, sitting in a tree…

…eating chocolate? Doing trivia quiz? Listening to hair metal? Doing X-Files cosplay?

(for a second I thought this was by @ema…)

I’ve never quite understood the whole ‘sitting in a tree’ thing. How many people actually do that?

I guess it´s becaue it´s a very small children´s thing. Because they think how that works. And it´s part of their world.

I used climb trees a lot as a kid, actually. Some of those might even still be standing in the park near where we used to live.

Well yeah, I’ve climbed trees before but not for that purpose. I guess it is just a kiddie thing. And it works with the rhyme.

Right, what topic are we in… Oh dear, we drifted from that a while back.

Trees.
There is a tree in Maniac Mansion.

There.

You saw that in the telescope? Did you also get the easter egg where the alien from Resque On Fractalus knocks at the telescope when you push it too far in the wrong direction?

Yeah, but also from the pool area.

Oh, I didn’t realise that’s where that was from!

Makes me think of Cluck Y’Egger / Five Nights at Freddy’s.

I remember how surprised (and impressed) I was with that scary moment, when I first played “Behind Jaggi Lines” on my Atari 800 back in the 80’s.

It’s just that tree is the only word that rhymes with the letter G!
For elementary school children at least.

… needed to take a pee…
… on a killing spree…
… binge watching Glee…
… swallowing XTC…
… singing at a jamboree…
… in a manège à 3…
… dressed up all piratey…
… like Elton John and Kiki Dee…
… roasting their weenie…
… got stung by a bee …
… making big whoopie…

And so on and so forth

A bee on a bee makes a baby bee…

Haha, sounds like you’re in the wrong job (unless you already write offbeat nursery rhymes for a living).

Unfortunately that doesn’t pay too well. Unless you’re Eminem…
