Neural Network Upscaling in FF VII

Normally I don’t really understand why one would use those upscaling filters, but these seem to look pretty decent.

The AI Gigapixel software says it was trained on millions of photos so that it can “upscale” with potentially interesting results.

Interesting. I recently had a calendar printed from older photos (some only 4 megapixels), and a few of the pages really would have benefited from upscaling (provided the results are not just interesting, but actually usable.)

Too late now, but out of curiosity, I might see what the result would have been. Hope their trial version isn’t as terrible as LGs Miracast macOS application, which worked for 5 minutes before demanding payment :frowning:.
