I reckon more news will come after Devolverās next game, Cult of the Lamb has been released. You donāt want to overshadow one gameās launch with too much focus on another. Itās also Gamescom and then PAX after that where weāll probably get a look at the UI and a release date, most likely happening on Talk Like a Pirate Day. Of course Iād love it to come out sooner than that but this trajectory seems to make sense from a marketing standpoint. Then again, nothing with this game has been so simple, remember when we all thought weād get a trailer with Devolverās showcase and it didnāt come out until Nintendo Direct? Anythingās possible.

I agree that it makes sense for the game, especially because the developers are still fixing bugs.
It is cruel to me, though. Sending to me a content-complete beta version would seem a reasonable compromise to satisfy all the involved parties.

Do you know what I read in one of the many interviews published in the last hours? Well, after announcing the game in April, they wanted to release it in MAY.
That wasnāt possible, so they fell back on āTalk Like a Pirate Dayā.
