amazing. how did you do it? ESRGAN?
Oooohhh, nice. AI trained upscaling is a marvel.
Anyway, that’s my theory confirmed then; it’s an eye socket with a glass eye.
I wonder what kind of ceremony would require a pirate to wear a tuxedo (or at least some tuxedo parts). Maybe LeChuck is trying to marry Elaine again.
Edit: that would also explain why he shaved off his beard.
the weakness of this theory are the short sleeves…
There will be a hint system, and a casual mode in RMI. Per TWP.
I am very happy to have such features within the game, just providing that the hint system is entirely optional (Thimbleweed Park handled that aspect beautifully) and that the non-casual mode is designed with adventure game veterans is mind (i.e. as challenging as the likes of the hard mode within Monkey Island 2).
The non-casual mode is designed with adventure game veterans is mind. We have seen it in the screenshots we have. Adventure game veterans are already very challenged.
off topic: I’m playing the first case and it’s really amazing…
Glad to read this! Let’s share your impressions on the dedicated thread on this forum!
Probably Zombie… but I wouldn’t mind something else that doesn’t match with either MI2 ending or CoMI beginning.
So I am going with lava LeChuck!
Star Wars?
… this is Wally!
After all, he did poke out his own eye at the start of CoMI. No harm done though, he didn’t see too much with it anyway as we all know from MI2.
So: timetravelling!
Or… Carla didn’t care for the tickling beard
MI2 ends with human LeChuck. But we had it in Tales too.
I’d go for… uh… what monster category is left? We already had Ghost and Zombie.
MUMMY LECHUCK
To those who remember all the islands mentioned in the franchise, does the map shown in the locksmith shop resemble any of them?
Nope, I think it’s a new island, the Exclamation Mark island, I suppose.
If you squint and sort of turn your head, the island looks like a great big, enormous duck… or is it a bunny?
You’re right about the granny hair, but it’s the sister, since the glass eye is genetic.
Looks more like a phone receiver.
=> Phone Boothy Island
Or a cutlass?
=> Cutlass Island (That actually sounds cool)
It’s a seahorse!
