I used Pixelied to see how Return to Monkey Island would look in glorious technicolor. I suppose that a tool like ReShade could do a similar post-processing during the gameplay.

Here I’ve read and used “RtMI” but The International House of Mojo uses “ReMI”.

RtMI is correct. ReMI is too close to the mod’s name from Mix ‘n’ Mojo and that guy is an arse.

I rather like the meta aspect of the game’s title. It’s Ron’s return to Monkey Island, as much as Guybrush’s.

I’ll accept whatever meta stuff they’ll throw in my direction, not because I would like it but because:
- It’s their game
- After 30 years I would just accept anything that explains to me what the freakin’ secret is.
I think that, as an adult, I can appreciate more surreal stories and abstract explanations.
Nevertheless, I have to confess that I wouldn’t mind this “mi3a” chapter to conclude the intended original trilogy as my younger (and less sophisticated) self would have liked it.

The Secret hasn’t changed during the years, though. We are going to have the same secret that we would have had 30 years ago. Not the same game, but the same secret.
If it’s abstract/surreal now, it has always been abstract/surreal.
Therefore, I stand by my original prediction: The secret of Monkey Island is that Chuckie and Guybrush are not really brothers, but only stepbrothers.

Wish it was real 3(a). Hopefully it will tell the story Ron had in mind mostly and then tie to the rest cleverly. Too bad that Ron had to back off from his 3a ideal but it’s an acceptable compromise to make the game.
Still compared to no Ron MI game it’s infinitely better to have a Ron in helm MI game after 31 years. I’m super happy and looking forward, checking forums, articles daily.
How do you know that? 
Well, because Ron referred to it as “THE secret”. So he implicitely states there is a definite secret to be revealed.
I believe it was you who linked to the interview . Ron was saying the secret would sound weak if stated verbally , and made the example with “Darth Vader is Luke’s father”.
if the secret had changed during the years, it would have been deliberately misleading for Ron to talk like that. I mean, it would have been deceit
