Oh, I didn’t realize that, for the music. You’re right. That’s awesome! This is definitely something I love and have been missing from a lot of recent games.
I love this because it feels like the music evolves with you, so it’s more immersive for me. You feel like you’re part of a world.
I was a big fan of that in the 90s, obviously in MI2 and Curse, but even in other games like Banjo-Kazooie.
I don’t remember any recent games with memorable or even interesting music.
Yes, this would be consistent with the fact that the trailer video also had a bird frozen in that way.

Interesting. Guybrush has that sort of… sassy optimism that he had in the latter games. It does feel like he’s already lived through Tales, rather than coming straight from Revenge.
But maybe that’s just my perception, and maybe it has a lot to do with dialogue-written-to-be-spoken versus dialogue-written-to-be-read.
It’s really good. If there’s a chance you like the kind of game I’d definitely recommend trying it.

In my mind, it comes more naturally from Curse-Escape-Tales Guybrush. Maybe I’m just off, and maybe it’s because those three games were already voiced.

I also think that it’ unlikely that they’ll publish all these small revelations every week for months: even if they have a lot of material to share, they would reveal too much about the game.
But August the 7th, 2022 is a Sunday. I don’t know much about games… would it make sense to release a game on a Sunday?
Eh. Who knows with Ron? Haha. My way of looking at it is like this. It is releasing in 2022. We are more than half way through 2022. I can wait as long as I need to. It won’t be long before Monkey Time. Also the amount of teases seem to hint that it’s coming sooner rather than later but i’m not getting my hopes up.
