I have a bad memory from primary school, when I was about seven. We all had to make our own sandwich with a filling of our choice. I’m not sure if we made them at home and brought them in, or if we took the ingreditents to school and made our sandwiches there. Anyway, I chose chocolate spread.
Mum said: “Are you sure?”
I said: “Of course! I like bread, and I like chocolate!”
In the end, we all sat on the carpet in our classroom, and I was the only one who couldn’t eat more than two bites of their sandwich
I also remember when we ate crisps in the playground there would be this process where e.g. I would say to my friend ‘one for one?’ They would nod shyly and we’d each take one of our crisps and at the same time pop it in the other’s crisp bag. If it was a crisp I really liked I would save it for last!
No, I said chocolate spread goes particularly well with those kind of waffles, but I eat all kinds of waffles.
All this talking about chocolate spread made me think of one brand that doesn’t exist anymore (at least haven’t found it in stores for 15 years now). Even no pictures online to be found. Only other people inquiring about its whereabouts
