They appear to special anniversary ones, with sprinkles in the cream. Apparently based on Oreo birthday cake ones. This Oreo business is very complicated. At least you know where you are with Twixes.

I’d quite like it if they made reverse Oreos, with the cream on the outside. I find the current format has too much biscuit. They could call them Eithereos.

Brilliant. But I think that eithereos is perfect for two white biscuits with a black filling. For The option “cream outside” I’d vote for noreos.

No, no. “Sandwich cookie" is just the English term for cookies like the Prinzenrolle:
An Oreo is also a “Sandwich cookie”.
