Because if it´s something like December 10 2031, then who cares? None of us will remember that by that time and we certainly won´t still be hanging out here in this forum.

There is a forum I spent 7 years in and haven´t visited in 10. Appearently it still exists but it looks like after I left all the other regulars left too…

But they don’t go off-topic? We instead have an endless amount of topics to discuss!

There’s one forum I’m regularly visiting since 2005, it’s the Cagliari Calcio fans forum. Almost all the historical regulars have left for lots of reasons, and the forum is dying, I even became an admin and I’m thinking we need to migrate to Discourse… but the forum is still alive.

Well, it’s a forum about football, and every year there’s something to discuss. So it might be different, unless we create like a TWP championship.

Sorry, I won’t tell any hint on when the death’s date is.

It happens everywhere. Other forums have random babble threads however, that have no topic at all.

It´s just the way my mind works, it hops from one thing to another and so on…

Is there a way to migrate to Discourse from phpBB for example, and keep all (or some of) the old threads? I don’t know about these things, but I recently thought about it.

I think there is, but we don’t care. We were even thinking about starting from scratch even for the users - that is, forcing people to re-subscribe. But I never had the time

In Zak’s place, I wouldn’t plan anything important, as there may not be the day to spend. After all, the time of death could be as early as 12:01. Maybe he’ll find that out next, if he has another dream about a party - down to the hour, minutes and seconds.

In the days leading up to that one, I would make sure to tell everyone I know how much I appreciate them and stuff. I would try and slip it into casual conversation, so it’s not too obvious And on the day itself, if it’s nice weather I would probably just wander around outside, among the trees and the green grass. If it’s raining, I would do the same, but inside a videogame

I know it’s interesting to think about “what if this would be real”.

But don’t forget that this was a dream. This dream could just be a reminder for an important event (for example a party or a birthday). In dreams the human brain likes to “wrap” an information into other pictures. Another possibility is that Zak has watched a picture or a horror movie and this kind of dream is the way his brain tries to “handle” these.

If I had dreams like that, I wouldn’t let it worry me. Not at all. But I would be curious, and do what I mentioned just in case.

Unfortunately not. It could be a single photo or a text sentence that you can’t remember of. For example the “Friday the 13th” stuff that Milan posted yesterday.

Yes, I think the mainly reason why I wanted to tell anyone about this dream, is to avoid it to scare me.
