So, Jeff is, like, a rastafari now?

Weird… I can’t find anything about that game or the people who made it on the internet, twitter,…
must be another April’s fools joke by Ron!

I like the system requirements.

Edit: btw, I played Darkestville Castle on Steam recently, but…

Looks to me like it’s pretty similar, but who am I… :stuck_out_tongue:

But it is true that I have virtually all my other adventure games on GOG and a handful of other DRM-free sites.

Still, I have more adventures on Steam too. Weird.

I do hope the game [the Castle] isn’t as filled with grammatical and spelling errors as the description on Steam is.
Probably because it’s translated from Spanish and a horror game, but that’s no excuse to make it a bloodcurdling experience.

Serious people. They are busy making stuff. No time for bullsh%t like letting other people know.
Like Ron Gilbert right now (right?)

“Sister Angela is a senior demon and vampire hunter, since she was trained by the very same Vatican.”

I can’t wait to play Sister Angela! I mean, she is trained by THE VERY SAME VATICAN!

The very same Vatican as Gabriel Van Helsing?

Lol. I hope the game language is all like that. It will be double the fun

BTW, in Italian and Spanish , when you say “by the same Vatican” you mean “by no less than the Vatican” or “by the Vatican in person”

That’s what I guessed, just like you’d say “his father” regardless if you’re talking about the son or daughter. Hopefully they’ll have some native English speaker willing to correct all of that before releasing the game (or afterwards as a patch).

Oh, gee, it’s true  we use the same word for “his” and “her” . (But when there is ambiguity we say “father of him” / “father of her”.)

Hm… I’m thinking I’m going to need one for my game as well. …

Well, you should ask @tasse-tee obviously!

Heheh… well, I think I improved a few phrases here and there when playtesting the first half of the game, but for the most part everything was well-written!

You even suggested a joke that I adopted

I can’t wait for you to play the second part

Oh, I also fixed that scene that you said was weak.

Now with more Pete Van Damme (Mike Stallone’s nemesis).

I don’t get whats the point of a making MM clone. Why not take the influence but make something yours? For short projects - ok - but this looks like a lot of effort went into it.

Fortunately it wasn’t that scene or my heart would not bear it.

But I doubled down with Mike Stallone in the second half anyway.

That on top of being a SENIOR DEMON! Hell doesn’t send rookies when it gets to vampire hunting .
