I got that, I was just looking for a place to get out of this. I´m still wondering that that speed issue comes from.
You are doing it wrong. If you have questions about supercharging your C64 ask Glottis for help, he is a trusted expert in the field of supercharging.
I don´t know if I can get past all his nervous screaming, though.
I’m sure you will get used to it. Who doesn’t like hearing demons screaming?
He must be a jerk then. Did he try lullabies? Demons like those (I’m pretty sure).

Did he try lullabies?
I believe it was in fact one of the demons singing “Hush little Baby”.

It’s not the right thread…
… don’t post here, Zak, don’t do it…
…
OK, you asked for it!
Question for a friend: What were the big pop-hits you remember on the radio in Italy circa 1988-89?
I remember hearing a lot of the Top Gun soundtrack here around that time.

I don´t think that Take My Breath Away ever went out of rotation.
Time to get this topic back on-topic…
I am playing the FM towns for the first time now, but this is why I prefer playing the C64 version:

Hmm I remember it earlier, 1986/87.
In 88/89, the years of Zak McKracken And The Alien Mindbenders, there was the “Lambada” all the summer, a lot of songs of the new Italian entry Jovanotti… as far as I remember, during those years the pop hits were “Yeke Yeke”, a lot of Michael Jackson (“Smooth Criminal”) and Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet, Nick Kamen…
Do you want to know only the international hits or even the Italian ones?

this is why I prefer playing the C64 version:
How could they miss that out from FM Towns?!?

the Italian ones?
Yes

a lot of Michael Jackson (“Smooth Criminal”)
Now that you mention it, I wonder if Michael was a Zak McKracken fan…
Annie, are you okay?
Are you okay?

- Jovanotti - Gimme Five
- Tullio De Piscopo - Andamento Lento
- Edoardo Bennato - Viva La Mamma
- Francesco Salvi - Esatto!
- Raf - Ti pretendo
- Lorella Cuccarini - La Notte Vola
Many other famous songs, in the years 87/88/89/90, those were my “golden years”…

You can also play the much better looking enhanced version while being a creep and talking to strangers on a plane:
obvious fake, though… because of the font…

that’s a genuine C64 version. With the talk to DLC
