Switzerland is always good for surprises. Well at least after they broke their eternal streak of never scoring at all.
But germany got the result they played for. Hopefully they´ll get their act together in the next two games.
They won’t. The German team isn’t that good anymore. I don’t think that they will survive the first round.

btw: It’s interesting to see that the “big” teams are struggling. It would really be great if the smaller teams could take over.

I´m almost always rooting for Nigeria for as long as they´re in. Mostly because I like the culture of the country.

Yep, it would. Germany always passed the first round. The only time they got kicked out in group stage was in 1978, but it was the second round. Strange format.

No, it’s Ok. The German team (and not Germany, btw.) won the last World Cup, now an other team should be the winner. And it would be really, really great if this would be a smaller team!
Besides pride and slaughter haven´t brought germany very far in the world in the past. So I´d suggest something better thought out than that.
