There was a so-called Setup Utility in the DotT folder, in which the title was translated.

I´m also holding out for if anyone finds if it´s filed under that title in the patent registry. That would make it official and obscure at the same time.

Yes. It is used as a subtitle in the intro sequence.

I also doubt that the title was official. I assume that the author who wrote the German title on Wikipedia was wrong. Seeing the box art for the German release with the English title, it seems to have been the official title for the German versions as well. Sometimes, translators are a bit too overeager.
