In Germany we have the saying “it’s raining out of buckets” (“Es regnet wie aus Eimern”).
That weather was predicted for last night but fortunately it was fine at all. At the moment we have again this funny weather in Germany:

We had that here, it was raining really heavy late at night/in the early morning hours. But it´s sunny now.
Yes, according to the news it rained everywhere - not here at my place.

No this is an unusually long winter. April is normally very springy. More fuel for the climate change deniers.
Because they focus on “warming”, forgetting “global” and completely ignoring “climate change” (which would include a longer winter in its meaning).
