Lost in play: another great speechless adventure for kids, almost as good as Katie in Meowmeowland
Justin Wack and the Big Time Hack was released on Steam but also on FireFlower Games (they sell DRM-free games, especially those adventure-type of games).
I didn’t know FireFlower Games is a Swedish company! As is the developer of the game (Warm Kitten).
Features (copied from the game’s page):
- Multiple playable characters
- Puzzles based in logic with a wacky edge
- Sleek 2D animations
- Fully voice acted
- Built-in hint system
- Ron Gilbert himself backed the Kickstarter :O
Just a normal day in the office:
(During COVID-19. Or just a normal day in The Office)
Have you started playing it already?
Just started. Putting a pie with a tinfoil bottom in the microwave causes a time dimensional portal to appear
I like the silliness of it
No spoilers please!
it’s the intro!
Ah, Ok.
I’ve already received a key (for FireFlower Games) from the developer who is very nice but haven’t downloaded or played anything yet.
It’s about time though, I think this year I’ve played some Doom but no other video game at all (btw. since I play Doom with mouse it counts as point’n’click adventure, right?).
I play most adventure games with a controller.
I played some Dishonored this weekend. (Not quite related to the previous sentence.)
Sounds horrible. Sacrilegious!
But then on the other hand I’ve also played an adventure game with a controller (now I’m talking about TWP) and some people would send me to hell for that.
A point and click adventure game dedicated to Alfred Hitchcock’s Psycho.
For free, on itch.io
It’s out!
Very cool. Many Jonathan Boakes (The Lost Crown, Dark Fall) vibes…
I’ve seen this release on GOG and wondered why I’ve recognised so many screenshots but not that title: Previously it was called Incantamentum.
Fun fact: The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow was their original working title.
Another recent release on GOG: The Spirit and the Mouse
Made by Alblune, two devs from France, based in Canada, and available on nearly every PC platforms + Switch.
It’s more of a puzzle platformer but somehow I’m drawn to games with small critters like mice and rats.
And the most recent release on GOG (you may have heard about it before):
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
According to GOG it’s an adventure game so I’m on-topic. And hey, finally I can try it!
I just hope I don’t have to wait that long for RtMI!
Blood Nova and The Plague Doctor Of Wippra came out today.
