How did you get in the wolves’ territory in the first 15 seconds? I remember it took me a couple of hours
I just walked over there, heh.
wasn’t there a puzzle to open the door?
No, you walk over, look at the door, there’s a bit of background exposition and “huh, who left this open?”
Hah, I went on the forum wondering if anyone had brought up the lack of savegame sync and look who I found.
Glad to be of help
Oxenfree II is out. Dare I buy it?
Edit: there are two parts to that question really.
- Oxenfree is fantastic and self-contained. A follow-up can only disappoint?
- GOG > Steam but will Netflix release on GOG? Do I even want to shovel money towards Netflix?
25% launch reduction for a week.
I don’t want to shovel money towards Steam, so I won’t buy it there.
It could also be equally good or better. What are the odds!?
Waiting a bit might not hurt. RtMI did release on GOG eventually, and so did Heaven’s Vault. But I also have a number of games wishlisted on Steam that didn’t.
Remains the last bit: why *not* shovel money towards Netflix? I didn’t imagine them to be in the same league as EA or Ubisoft .
Equally good is worse. Sorry, them’s the rules. Anyway, that’s not really factor, worse would still be better than most games.
Well no, they’re a league beyond even that.
Not exactly “just released”, but at least it’s a new release in GOG:
Can we post not quite released yet?
Yes, though their more natural location would be in the “under development” post:

Gobliins 5 is out! I’m a big fan of the first and second game, so I bought it.
Two potential gems from itch.io
Though this is purely by the looks and associated comments, I did not play any of the two yet. (The next game I’ll start playing will be Baldur’s Gate 3. Anything else will have to wait until next year, I fear )
I haven’t played “The Telwynium” series (yet) but all Powerhoof games are great, especially the adventure games. Hint: You should play The Inanimate Mr Coatrack before You’re Watching ICEBOX!.
What seems to be a multiplayer co-op adventure game, up to 4 players, is out:
Re: The Telwynium:
Ohh, Book Three already? I missed that they did Book Two. The first one was so good, I am really looking forward to playing the other two now.
Monorail stories is out. 60% off on Steam. Very interesting art. I still have to figure out if it has puzzles, and how long it is:
Indeed! Thanks for pointing out!
It seems to be more like a visual novel. Play time seems to be an hour until you get to one of 15 different endings. On Gog.com it’s tagged as an “exploration” game.
And on Gog too:
