Oh for goodness sake… I’m sure I tried that before!
Concrete slab in the garage. Is it important? Yes or no only please.
No…
Thanks, just wanted to rule that out!
Ooooooh I found a safe!
Also I think I might know what I need to do with the telescope, but I think I need more coins. Is there a way to initiate the cut scene where Dr Fred uses one of the machines? It doesn’t seem to be happening anymore
How many coins do you have? Have you used the telescope already? The cut scene doesn´t have to happen again, it is enough that it happened once already.
I got two from the money box and used them both. I saved it beforehand so that I can go back if I need to.
When the cut scene happened (a while ago), the arcade machine coin boxes were open (I’d just opened them with the key). Dr Fred said ‘it must be out of order’ and walked off. I’ve looked in all of them and there’s no money in any.
You can use all the coins from the box + the on Dr Fred´s Room floor and turn all the way into the wrong direction and then all the way in the right direction again. Just never do a left +right + left thing.
You should see the cutscene of Dr Fred again after you repaired the wires. He should be playing then.
I think two are enough two solve the puzzle but I also think you didn’t look close enough…
Note: Total amount of this sort of dimes in the game is afair four.
That is correct.
Okay, phew. I haven’t been able to get any from the coin box in the arcade, only the piggy bank. But that should be okay then.
Thanks both.
Seems like you are on the right track.
All the ones in the bank and the other one should make a total of four, which is enough to even allow for mistakes.
AFAIR Dr. Fred plays on the machines after a while again.
This is a dead end (at least… I can’t remember Dr. Fred playing more than once).
If you have not fixed the wires yet, and Dr. Fred fails to play videogames, he won’t play anymore.
And this part is MANDATORY to finish Maniac Mansion.
It was the reason of my surrending, the first time I’ve played.
Yeah, that´s not true. Sorry you gave up too soon.
Thank crap.
Huh?
She meant: Thanks Mr. Krabs.
