that whole docu series is full of great (imo) custom pixel art animation. the video game doc space is pretty crowded but this one was top-notch.

I strongly recommend “SANPA”, broadcasting on Netflix. It’s a documentary series about an incredible and intriguing dark story which happened in Italy straddling 80es and 90es. If you’re not Italian there’s the chance you haven’t heard of it. It is really disturbing and moving.
